Terms of Service

Rosetta Cleaning Services LLC Last updated: June 2026

1. Agreement to These Terms

By requesting an estimate, booking a service, or otherwise using rosettacleaningservices.com (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site or book a service.

2. Our Services

Rosetta Cleaning Services LLC provides residential and commercial cleaning services in Bergen County, New Jersey, including but not limited to standard cleaning, deep/signature cleaning, move-in/move-out cleaning, post-construction cleaning, and recurring commercial cleaning. The Service & Pricing details available on the Site describe what's included in each tier; specific scope can also be confirmed directly with us before booking.

2.1 Window and Carpet Cleaning Are Referral-Only

We do not perform window cleaning or carpet cleaning directly. If you request either, we will connect you with an independent, vetted contractor partner. That work is performed by the independent contractor, not by Rosetta Cleaning Services, and is governed by that contractor's own terms, pricing, and guarantees, not ours. We are not responsible for the work, conduct, or outcomes of independent third-party contractors we refer you to.

3. Estimates and Pricing

The online calculator on our Site provides an estimate, not a final, binding price, unless the calculator explicitly confirms a firm price at checkout. For jobs flagged as needing a walkthrough (due to size, condition, or special circumstances like pets or post-construction debris), the price shown is a range, and the final price will be confirmed with you before the service is performed.

Prices reflect current market rates at the time of your estimate and are subject to change. We will not change the agreed price for a confirmed booking without telling you first.

4. Booking, Scheduling, and Cancellations

When you submit a booking request through the Site, you're requesting an appointment; it is not confirmed until we contact you to confirm scheduling details. We'll do our best to accommodate your preferred date and time, but availability is not guaranteed until confirmed.

Cancellations and rescheduling: Please give us as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. Repeated last-minute cancellations may affect our ability to offer recurring scheduling discounts or priority booking.

5. The Reclean Guarantee

If any item on your service checklist does not meet the standard we hold ourselves to, contact us within 24 hours of your service and we will return to reclean the affected area at no additional charge.

This guarantee covers the quality of the clean performed. It does not cover:

  • Pre-existing damage, staining, or wear documented or visible at the start of the job

  • Issues arising from a recommended add-on or deeper service that the client declined

  • Window or carpet cleaning, which is governed by the referral contractor's own terms (see Section 2.1)

The reclean guarantee is our remedy for a quality issue. It is not a cash refund guarantee.

6. Your Responsibilities

To help us do the job right and safely, please:

  • Provide accurate information about your space, including square footage, pets, and any known special conditions (heavy buildup, post-construction debris, hazardous materials)

  • Secure or disclose any fragile, valuable, or sensitive items you'd like handled with specific care, or kept off-limits entirely

  • Ensure safe, reasonable access to the property at the scheduled time

  • Treat our cleaning staff with respect; we ask the same of them toward you

7. Payment

Payment terms will be confirmed at the time of booking or upon completion of service, depending on the service type. We do not require payment to receive an estimate.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by New Jersey law:

  • Rosetta Cleaning Services LLC's liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the cost of the service giving rise to the claim, except where caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

  • We are not liable for pre-existing conditions, damage, or wear in your home or business that existed before our visit.

  • We are not liable for the acts, omissions, or work quality of independent third-party contractors we refer you to (see Section 2.1).

  • Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot legally be limited under New Jersey law, including liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or personal injury caused by our negligence.

We carry general liability insurance, and any covered incident will be handled through that coverage in accordance with its terms.

9. Background Checks and Staffing

All Rosetta cleaning staff are background-checked and trained before being placed with any client, as described on our Trust & Safety page. We reserve the right to assign, reassign, or substitute staff as needed to fulfill a booking.

10. Intellectual Property

The content on this Site, text, branding, the "Rosetta Standard" name and materials, and the design of our online estimate tool, belongs to Rosetta Cleaning Services LLC and may not be copied or used without our permission.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be handled in the appropriate courts of Bergen County, New Jersey, unless otherwise required by law.
